The Oregon Health Authority on Wednesday reported 1,346 new confirmed or presumptive coronavirus cases and 41 more fatalities.
The numbers represent the second straight day of more than 40 new fatality announcements, though the state said Tuesday that the lengthy process of confirming some deaths had delayed some announcements. More than 30 of the deaths announced Tuesday occurred in 2020.
